Gary L. Clarkson
TOMPKINSVILLE – Gary L. Clarkson, 61, of Tompkinsville, passed away at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, while in the company of family members, at his home.
Gary was born in Monroe County on June 13, 1952, a son of the late Lucille (Burks) and Orville “Bulley” Clarkson. Gary graduated from Monroe County High School in 1970, and on March 24, 1975, he married Rebecca “Becky” Rhoton, who survives him.
Gary was retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department after 28 years and was an active farmer in Mud Lick.
Gary is survived by a daughter, Casey, wife of Patrick Collins, of Tompkinsville; a son, Cary, husband of Lindsey Clarkson, of Tompkinsville; four grandsons, Caden Clarkson, Weston Collins, Lane Collins and Cohen Clarkson.
Gary is also survived by a sister, Rosemary Wooten, of Maryville, Tenn.; two brothers, Bobby Clarkson, of Tompkinsville, and Harold Clarkson, of Glasgow.
Gary was also preceded in death by one brother, Rondal Clarkson, and two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Clarkson and Gayle Clarkson.
Funeral services will be conducted at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 5, with Jim Finley Jr. officiating. Visitation is in progress and will continue Friday 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
Donations to the Mud Lick Fire Department or Bethlehem Cemetery.
Linda Lou Hasting
GLASGOW – Linda Lou Hasting, 59, of Glasgow, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at her residence.
Born in Knox, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Fisher Risner.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hasting, of Glasgow.
No services are scheduled at this time. Mrs. Hasting chose cremation. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Karen Lynn Heath
BONNIEVILLE – Karen Lynn Heath, 48, of Bonnieville, died Tuesday, July 2 at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Willie.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home. Burial was in Quinn Cemetery.
