Elizabeth Reece Wells
BON AYR – Elizabeth Reece Wells, 85, of Bon Ayr, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, in Glasgow.
The Adair County native was born on Dec. 18, 1927, to the late Cofer and Ella Royce Reece. She was the devoted wife of 63 years to the late Howard Wells.
She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland United Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, David Wells (Darlene), of Glasgow, and Brother Wayne Wells (Beverly), of Park City; three daughters, Wanda Bledsoe (Gurl), of Smiths Grove, Glenda Hankins (Jerry), of Franklin, and Linda Reed, of Russellville; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel and Thursday, Oct. 24, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Woodland United Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. at the church with burial in the church cemetery.
LOUISVILLE – Rondell Gene “Ron” Claywell, 74, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Louisville. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, at noon.
TOMPKINSVILLE – William Randall Young, 73, of Tompkinsville, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Monroe County Medical Center. Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery. Military honors will be preformed by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.
