Arthur A. Woodson
LITTLE ELM, Texas – Arthur A. Woodson, 85, of Little Elm, Texas, and a former Glasgow resident, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, in Plano, Texas.
He was born in Glasgow, the son of the late William D. and Mary E. Wilson Woodson. Mr. Woodson was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the Chevron Company.
He is survived by his wife, Mae Beatey Woodson; a son, Rob Woodson, of Frisco, Texas; five brothers, David Woodson and wife Gladys, of Jeffersonville, Ind., Ralph Woodson and wife Alma, of Raleigh, N.C., Urey Woodson, of Atlanta, Billy Woodson and wife Linda, of Pensacola, Fla., and George Woodson and wife Rita, of Glasgow; three sisters, Jane Hoyt, of Mount Vernon, Ill., Mary Rapier, of Chandler, Ariz., and Sarah Luttrell and husband Bill, of Edmund, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time for the service.

MACON, Ga. – Jenny Lysle Mayhall, 82, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer. Snow’s Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements. Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, is in charge of local arrangements.
TOMPKINSVILLE – Geneva Jane Brooks Smith, 88, of Tompkinsville, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery in Monroe County.
