GLASGOW — Terry Bernard Boeckmann

HORSE CAVE – Terry Bernard Boeckmann, 54, was born July 10, 1959, in Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. George and Mrs. Wanda Boeckmann.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Boeckmann.

Celebration of life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society.

Elvin R. Hare

HORSE CAVE – Elvin R. Hare, 83, of Horse Cave, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Hart County Health Care Center.

He was a Barren County native, a retired farmer and milk-hauler, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Horse Cave Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Terry Hare on Jan. 19, 2013; his parents, Thomas Hare and Ellie Craighead Hare; a brother, W.T. Hare; a sister, Juanita Wingfield; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Hare.

Survivors include a brother, Mitchell Hare and his wife Covella, of Cave City; brother-in-law, Chester Wingfield, of Bowling Green; two nieces, Brenda McGown and Gwen Williams, both of Bowling Green; two nephews, Gary Hare, of Bullard, Texas, and Tim Wingfield, Round Hill; two great-nieces, Christi McGown and Samantha Coplen; three great-nephews, Matthew Hare, Chris Cannon and Thomas Wingfield; two great-great-nieces, Courtney Cannon and Tabatha Hare; two great-great-nephews; Caleb Cannon and Paul Hare.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m. at Winn Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Hiseville Cemetery, with full military honors by the Glasgow DAV Chapter #20.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:30 to 8 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Thursday until service time.

Timothy Mark Neal

GLASGOW — Timothy Mark Neal, 50, of Glasgow, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.

He was the son of the late Luther Arnold Neal and Jennie Agnes Byrd Neal.

He is survived by his children, Timothy Michael Neal (Amanda), Joshua Mark Neal, Matthew Grant Neal, Tiffany Danielle Neal, Tabatha Nichole Wood; his grandchildren, Chase James Oz Neal, Alexander Paul Embry, Zoey MaryCatherine Neal, Abigail Elizabeth Wooten, Paisley LeAnn Wood, Jadah Lynn Neal and Aiden Alexander Wood; his brothers, Danny Neal (Shirley), Carroll Neal (Janice), Jeff Neal (Pam), Ronnie Neal (Sharon), James Neal (JoEetta) and Ricky Neal (Lisa); his sisters, Glenda Honeycutt (Wayne), Rebecca Hampton and Teresa Pennington (Timmy); special friends, Connie Neal and Teresa Daniels; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.


Tommy Ray Shaw

BOWLING GREEN – Tommy Ray Shaw, 56, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at The Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Billy G. Shaw and Zelma Poindexter Shaw, who survives.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.


GLASGOW — The memorial service for Christine E. Scott will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at First United Methodist Church in Glasgow. She died on July 24, 2013, at her home in Glasgow at age 64. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Kids Hope Project at First United Methodist Church, Mary Weldon Memorial Library or PEO.
