GLASGOW – Eunice Anderson, 86, of Glasgow, formerly of Burkesville, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, at her home.
Eunice was born Feb. 21, 1927, in Cumberland County, to the late Porter and Trannie Graham Riddle. She was a member of Burkes-ville Baptist Church and attended Coral Hill Baptist Church in Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Anderson; one son, John David Anderson; one great-grandson, Logan Wayne Richardson; three brothers, Illus Riddle, Waymon Riddle and James Riddle; and three sisters, Ira Young, Inis Pierce and Virgie Branham.
Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Richardson and her husband Larry, of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Greg Richardson and his wife Sandy, of Glasgow, and Jamie Rucker and her husband Brad, of Columbia; two great-granddaughters, MaKaylee Ward, of Columbia, and Erica Richardson, of Glasgow; two step-great-granddaughters, Brittany Rucker, of Glasgow, and Brook Rucker, of Glasgow; one step-great-great-granddaughter, Kinleigh Hurt, of Glasgow; one sister, Mary Richards, of Sellersburg, Ind.; one brother, Robert Riddle, of Burkesville; and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, with Brother Roy Woodie and Dr. Mark Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Burkesville Cemetery.
Family requests visitation from 3 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.
Billy Joe Barbour
GLASGOW – Billy Joe Barbour, 48, of Glasgow, formerly of Hart County, died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his residence in Glasgow.
He was the son of John Rice and the late Adelene Payton Alexander.
He is survived by his wife, Felicia Barbour.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Little Blue Springs Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at the church at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Reverend Carl "Dollie" Reed officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow Cemetery, Horse Cave.
