LOUISVILLE — Trevor Lee Gettys, 36, of Louisville, formerly of Fort Thomas, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, after a short illness.
He is survived by his parents, Norb and Marilyn Gettys.
A celebration of life is Friday, Sept. 13, at 4 p.m. at the Mellwood Arts Center (Gallery Inn Room) in Louisville. Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. On Sunday, there will be a celebration of life from 1 to 5 p.m. in Fort Thomas Mess Hall. Service will begin at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Fort Thomas Educational Fund, Humane Society of charity of ones choice.

Anna Katherine Hanson
CAVE CITY – Anna Katherine Hanson, 89, of Cave City, died peacefully on Sept. 11, 2013, at her home with her husband by her side.
The Barren County native was born Feb. 27, 1924, to the late Carl and Fannie Monroe Willis.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Woodford and Wilson Willis.
She was an expert homemaker, a founding member of Pathfinders and an active member of Highland United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Coy J. Hanson; a son, Ronald and his wife Linda of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Ronald Coy Hanson Jr. and his wife, Lori of Bowling Green and Lesley Ann Mills and her husband, Scott of Glasgow; three great-grandchildren, Morgan and Peyton Mills, of Glasgow, and Dustin Turner and his wife Crystal, of Bowling Green; a great-great grandchild, Allie B. Turner of Bowling Green; a brother, Arthur Willis of Bowling Green; a sister, Evelyn Duffy of Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with Scott Milby officiating will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Cave City United Methodist Church with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, will be after 4 p.m. Friday. The body will lie in state at the church after 9 a.m. Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Highland United Methodist Church Youth.
Kacy Nicole Moran
MUNFORDVILLE – Kacy Nicole Moran, infant daughter of Patricia Long and Anthony Moran, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandmother, Hope Rich and her husband Eugene, of Munfordville; maternal grandfather, Jason Long, of Glasgow; paternal grandmother, Laura Weslolowki and husband Kevin of Edmonson County; and paternal grandfather, Jeff Moran, of Butler County.
Graveside services were 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the family cemetery with Brother Randall Kessinger officiating. There will be no visitation. Sego Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
James Gordon Williams
SCOTTSVILLE – James Gordon Williams, 73, of Scottsville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, in Allen County.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Fountain Run First Baptist Church with Brother Ron Norrod and Brother John Jordan officiating; burial will follow in Fountain Run Cemetery.
His parents were the late G.T. and Myrtle T. (Meador) Williams. Deceased brothers were Lewis Wendell and Joel Eugene Williams.
Visitation will begin Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Fountain Run Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at Fountain Run First Baptist Church from Saturday 10 a.m. to 2.p.m.
His survivors include, wife, Geraldine (Pardue) Williams of Scottsville; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Christy Williams; granddaughters, Molly and Mattie Williams; and grandson, James Mitchell Williams, all of Fountain Run; and brother, Larry Williams, and wife Sarah of Bowling Green.
TOMPKINSVILLE — Alma Katherine Hagan Strode, 88, of Tompkinsville, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
