GLASGOW — Beatrice E. Harlow

LOUISVILLE – Beatrice E. Harlow, formerly of Barren County, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, in Louisville.

Arrangements are incomplete, but will be under the direction of Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

Clifton Richard Wilkerson

LUCAS – Clifton Richard Wilkerson, 71, of Lucas, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

The Barren County native was a son of the late Finis and Lou Birdia Carver Wilkerson. Clifton was retired from Barren River State Park, was a school bus driver for Barren County schools and an avid fox hunter. He was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Settle Wilkerson; a daughter, Kerry Zalla and husband Brett, of Scottsville; a stepdaughter, Tracy Goodman, of Lexington; two grandchildren, Lucy and Lincoln Zalla; four brothers, James H. Wilkerson, of Glasgow, Orville J. Wilkerson and wife Joyce, of Glasgow, Donald R. Wilkerson and wife Wanda, of Lucas, Michael L. Wilkerson and wife Maggie, of Frankfort; four sisters, Lou Jean Jewell and husband Harry, of Lucas, Evelyn Billingsley and husband Ray, Jan Groce and husband Bobby and Sandy Lindsey, all of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Wilkerson, and a sister-in-law, Betty Wilkerson.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday morning from 8 a.m. until time for the service.

LEXINGTON – Paul E. Day, 78, of Lexington, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in Cub Run Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Cub Run Cemetery Fund. These donations may be left at the funeral home.

   

EDINBURGH, Ind. – Lou Ann England, 76, of Edinburgh, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, Columbus, Ind. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

GLASGOW – Louie F. Ford, 92, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Glasgow Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
