GLASGOW — Ronnie Joe Hiser

EDMONTON – Ronnie Joe Hiser, 58, of Edmonton, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.  

He was the son of the late Leroy and Susan Hiser.  Ronnie was owner and operator of Central Air Systems Inc.    

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be conducted later.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Coffey Hiser; three sons, Michael Joe Hiser and fiancé Lisa Hamilton, of Edmonton, Jonathan Allen and wife Crissy Hiser, of Edmonton, Joe Reed Hiser and fiancé Nikki Long, of Glasgow; one daughter, Quinna Faye Neal, of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Nicole Hiser and Colby Whitlow; one special grandchild, Amber Dustin; one brother, Bobby Hiser, of Hiseville; two sisters, Ann and husband David Brown, of Center, and Bernice Hays, of Glasgow; a

sister-in-law, Bertha Hiser, of Summer Shade.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.   

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Quintin Neal; two sisters, Radina Hiser and Betty Dile; and two brothers, Don and William Webster Hiser.  



Brenda Gail Jackson

CAVE CITY – Brenda Gail Jackson, 70, of Cave City, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Edwin “Bud” Farris and Mary Spillman Montgomery Farris. She was a member of Hiseville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Depp Jackson; two sons, Ralph Farris Jackson and Glen Shelton Jackson and his wife Cynthia Rae; two grandsons, Nicholas Shelton Jackson and William Ray Jackson.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and after noon Saturday at the funeral home.

Gladys L. O’Byrn

HENDERSON, Nev. – Gladys L. O’Byrn, 83, of Henderson, Nev., passed away June 3, 2013.

She was born in Edmonton, Ky., on Jan. 6, 1930, to the late Loranzia and Ruby Salmon Bunch. She became a resident of Nevada in 1999. She worked as a secretary in the computer industry for 29 years. Her brothers Garnet Bunch, Dennis Railey and Glenn (G.W.) Bunch preceded her in death.

Gladys is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Lionel O’Byrn; her brother, L.W. (Greta) Bunch, of Cadiz; her sister, Jessie Emberton, of Mansfield, Ill.; her children, Brenda Bunch, of Columbus, Ind., Wayne (Rebecca) Bunch, of Columbus, Ind., and Deborah (Stephen) Jones, of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Jacob S. Jones, of Glasgow, Aaron and Nathan (Aubrey) Bunch, of Columbus, Ind., and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted in Glasgow, at a date to be announced.

 

Howard Webb

EDMONTON – Howard Webb, 66, of Edmonton, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at his residence in Edmonton.

He was the son of the late Sherman “Bully” Webb and the late Anna Johnson Webb.

The family has chosen cremation and there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville.

 

SERVICES



SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. – Kermit Arterburn, 95, died Monday, June 3, 2013. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. No services will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any children’s hospital of choice. Sandy Springs Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.



GLASGOW – Lovie Marie Broady, 80, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McMurtrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Peers Cemetery.

 

HORSE CAVE – Kathy Denice Cross, 46, of Horse Cave, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Glasgow.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Buck Hill Cemetery in Savoyard. Butler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.



FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Frances “Fran” Ann Siddens Dixon, 80, died Monday, June 3, 2013. A Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brentwood United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

 

MUNFORDVILLE – Debra Faye Glaab, 49, of Munfordville, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home. Burial will be in Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.   



GLASGOW – Robert Penn Harris, 58, of Glasgow, died at his home in Glasgow. A private family memorial service will be conducted and burial of his cremains will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Barren River Animal Welfare Association (BRAWA) or the Plaza Theatre. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.



GLASGOW – James Herman Hume, 95, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.



GLASGOW – Christine Miller, 86, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church, c/o James Steffey, 715 Davidson Road, Glasgow, Ky. 42141.



EDMONTON – Lanny Gordon Poynter, 64, of Edmonton, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Cave City Cemetery.



BURKESVILLE – Joyce Sells, 62, of Burkesville, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Cumberland County Hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main St., Burkesville, with burial in Rose of Sharon Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to WE CARE, Burkesville Baptist Church Building Fund or Rose of Sharon Cemetery Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
