GLASGOW — Claudette C. Haskins

GLASGOW – Claudette C. Haskins, 77, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow.

She was the daughter of the late Bob Duncan and the late Pearl Garnett Duncan and wife of the late Joe E. Haskins.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Morning Star Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct.13, at Morning Star Baptist Church, with Rev. Warner Fishback and the Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery in Horse Cave.

Brooks Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Bobby Gene Muse Sr.

TOMPKINSVILLE – Bobby Gene Muse Sr., 82, Tompkinsville, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at his residence.

Bob was born in Indianapolis, Ind., on Dec. 27, 1929, a son of the late Lena (Lair) and Clint Muse Sr.

He was the widower of Gloria (Elliet) Muse.

He is survived by two sons; Bob (Sally) Muse Jr., of Michigan, and Greg (Beth) Muse, of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A sister, Lois Scott, of Tompkinsville, and a brother, Steve Muse, of Mount Sterling, also survive.

He was a member of Buck Creek Christian Church. He served in the Korean War and worked as a superintendent for Webb Company Veneer Mill in Edinberg, Ind.

Bob was also a member of VFW.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; his parents, Clint and Lena (Lair) Muse; and a brother, Clint Muse Jr.

Funeral services for Bobby Gene Muse Sr. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with burial in Washington East Cemetery in Indianapolis, Ind. Visitation is Friday, Oct. 12, from 2 until 9 p.m. and Saturday 6 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

 

Jonathan L. Palmore

BOWLING GREEN – Jonathan L. Palmore, died Oct. 9, 2012, in Bowling Green.

He was the son of the late William C. Palmore Sr. and Clara Jenkins Palmore, who survives.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery #2. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the funeral home.
