Mrs. Brenda J. Meredith
SHEPHERDSVILLE – Mrs. Brenda J. Meredith, 65, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on April 29, 2013.
Among those who preceded her in death include her parents, Wilson and Mildred Edmunds; and husband, John Wayne Meredith.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Todd Meredith; daughters, Kelley Lewis (Rocky) and Jennifer Martin (Mark Westbay); nine grandchildren, Brandon, Clayton, Brandon, Taylor, Meredith, Madison, Josee’, Grant and Ashley; sister, Donna Moore (David); nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the many caregivers at Friendship Manor.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst.
Evelyn Louise Hickman Pace
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Evelyn Louise Hickman Pace, 77, of Tallahassee, Fla., died Friday, April 26, 2013, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 29, 1935, in Albany, Clinton County, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Daisy Huddleston Hickman and Balis Louis Hickman.
She graduated from Florida State University with a Ph.D. in social work. Before retiring, she was a social worker for the State of Florida specializing in elder care.
She is survived by seven children, Franklin Pace (Vickie) of Glasgow, Cindy McGuire (Larry), of LeGrande, John Pace (Debbie), of Glasgow, Marcia Pace, of Tallahassee, Fla., David Pace (Tammy), of Glasgow, Roy Pace (Amy), of Glasgow, and Jo Lena Pace, of Tallahassee, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, Tori Aiken, Nick Pace, Michael McGuire, Daphne Solberg, Tyler Pace, April Pace, David Allen Pace, Devan Myers, Logan Pace and Landon Pace; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Balis “Buck” Hickman, of New Mexico, Cecil “Jack” Hickman, of Nevada, Edward “Jim” Hickman, of Tennessee. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James “Jim” Pace, and a sister, Patricia Huff.
A memorial service will be conducted on June 8 in Albany, Ky.
