GLASGOW — Phebie Susan Trivett Bray

TOMPKINSVILLE – Phebie Susan Trivett Bray, 83, of Tompkinsville, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.

She was the wife of the late Samuel T. Bray and daughter of the late Charlie Trivett and Mary Tom McCue Trivett Hood.

Visitation will be Wednesday after 5 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with Eastern Star services at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn in Tompkinsville.

Memorials are suggested to the Mudlick Volunteer Fire Department.

 

Fred D. Bussell

GLASGOW – Fred D. Bussell, 88, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his home.

His arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

 

Quentin R. England

LUCAS – Quentin R. England, 91, of Lucas, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at his residence.

Born in Monroe County, he was the son of the late Jesse and Janie Wood England and the husband of the late Mary Burnett England.

Mr. England was retired from Ford Motor Company and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a Mason, a member of Loving Lodge # 323.

Survivors include three sisters, Ora Stoker, of Lyons, Ill., Sue Carol England, of Bowling Green, and Annette Larson, of Wheeling, Ill.; and one sister-in-law, Ann Burnett, of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Olive Todd and Louise Bockholt; and two brothers, Randell and Alpha England.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20, of Glasgow, will be in Neal Cemetery at Flippin. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 

Veachel Lowe

GLASGOW – Veachel Lowe, 83, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his residence.
