GLASGOW — Barbara Diane “Shake” Wooten, 73, of Glasgow, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 24, 1941, in Burkesville, to Floyd and Vallia Vincent.

Barbara was a retired employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital, where she spent 30 years working in the dining room/snack bar. She later went on to managing the cafeteria before retiring in 2010.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Barbara is survived by four daughters, Jacqueline Russell, of Richmond, Pam Ryan and husband Mike, of Glasgow, Angela Wooten, of Glasgow, and Julie Staples and husband Derick, of Munfordville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a friend of 40 years, Barbara Emmitt.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to T J Samson Hospice or BRAWA of Barren County.
