Wendy Ann Poynter
KNOB LICK – Wendy Ann Poynter, 58, of Knob Lick, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at her home. Born in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Costello and Dorothy Bragg Irwin. Mrs. Poynter was a farmer and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Poynter; one daughter, Prissy Chapman and husband Steve, of Edmonton; one son, Dewayne Poynter and wife Darby, of Edmonton; one step-son, Cody White and wife Kim, of Edmonton; one step-daughter, Sandy Poynter, of Edmonton; three grandchildren, Jacob Chapman, Kayden Thompson and Megan Baldwin; three sisters, Darlene Shirley and husband Maxie, of Glasgow; Doris Johnson and husband Jonathan, of Glasgow and Meshell Word, of Edmonton; three brothers, Gary Irwin, of Edmonton; Michael Costello, of Scottsville and Vincent Costello and wife Vickie, of Edmonton and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Adams, one brother, David Neal Word and her maternal grandparents, Gladys and Joe Bill Bragg.
Funeral services for Mrs. Poynter will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
