GLASGOW — Wanda Lee (Pullen) Cox

LOUISVILLE – Wanda Lee (Pullen) Cox, 67, died Feb. 25, 2013. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Richie and Pauline Pullen.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 51 years, Stanley Cox.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Charlotte Sue Harper

GLASGOW – Charlotte Sue Harper, 62, of Glasgow, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.

Born in Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Everett Lee and Mary Lou Garrett Likens and wife of the late Joseph Wayne Harper. Mrs. Harper was a former employee of the T. J. Samson Community Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Coulter, of Glasgow, Tommy Coulter, of Cave City and Jamie D. Coulter, of Glasgow; a granddaughter, Jordan Leigh Coulter, of Scottsville; a brother, Carlie Likens, of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Franklin and a brother, Harold Likens.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Maribeth Siler

BOWLING GREEN – Maribeth Siler, 87, formerly of Peoria, Ill., passed peacefully on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Magnolia Village, Bowling Green. 

She was born in Biggsville, Ill. on Oct.18, 1925, the daughter of Earl and Leota Dye Bigger.  She married Junior Robert Siler on Sept. 3, 1944 in Monmouth, Ill.  He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2008.  Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Ronald Bigger and Richard Bigger.

She is survived by one son, Robert J.  (Pamela) Siler, of Glasgow; one daughter, Mary Jane (Ed) Chard, of St. Louis, Mo.; one granddaughter, Kathryn (Jeffrey) Schormann, of Ellisville, Mo.; one grandson, Bret (Natasha) Chard, of St. Louis, Mo.; eight great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Megan, and Jack Schormann of Ellisville, Mo. and Madilyn, Riley, Emma, and Avery Chard, of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Jane Weir of Gladstone, Ill.

She was a homemaker and loved to work in her flower gardens.  She was also a former volunteer at the American Red Cross, Wildlife Prairie Park, Luthy Botanical Garden and Constitution Garden in Peoria, Ill.  She was a past member of the Navy Mother’s Club and Marine Corp League Auxiliary in Peoria, IL.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Biggsville, Ill. Funeral services will follow the visitation with burial in the Biggsville Cemetery in Biggsville, Ill. Rev. Jeff Robbins will officiate. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, Glasgow, assisted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or to an organization of the donor’s choice.
