GLASGOW — Bronvel Ray Wilson, 83, of Glasgow, and formerly of Scottsville, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Glasgow Health and Rehab.
The Indianapolis, Ind. native was a retired employee of Dayton-Walther, a self-employed lawn care contractor after his retirement, a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and attended Oak Street General Baptist Church.
He was a son of the late Henry Clifton Wilson and Opal D. West Wilson and husband of the late Jewell Dean Mayhew Wilson.
He is survived by one son, Pastor Jimmy R. Wilson and wife, Jenny, Glasgow; two daughters: Regina Hughes and husband, Pastor David, Scottsville, and Sharon Wilson, Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson and wife, Renea; Justin Wilson and wife Gina; Jonathan Wilson, Rachel Hughes and Bethany Hughes; five great-grandchildren: Hunter, Bryson, Trenton, Hannah and Noah Wilson.
He was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Emily Wilson; three brothers: Bryant Wilson, Baskel Wilson and Arnold J. Wilson, and one sister, Joann Wilson.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Brother Danny Patrick and Brother James Wheeler officiating and burial in Shiloh Cemetery.
Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
