HORSE CAVE — Odelia Edwards Broady, 98, of Horse Cave, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at N.H.C. Healthcare in Glasgow.
Mrs. Broady was a native of Hart County, member of Fairview Church of Christ, homemaker and farmed for many years with her late husband, Wilson Broady, who passed in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter B. and Annie Frances Carter Edwards; three brothers, Victor Edwards, Otis Edwards and Rondall Edwards; one grandson, Mark Sexton.
Survivors include three children, Dan Broady and wife Della, of Cave City, Lanelle Sexton and husband Bobby, of Horse Cave and Steve Broady and wife Joyce, of Shepherdsville; four grandchildren, Kim Broady, of Glasgow, Lisa Storey and husband Jesse, of Vine Grove, Victoria Adams and husband Chris, of Elizabethtown and Stephanie Rivera of Gillette, Wyo.; twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Martha Russell, of Horse Cave, Jenny Thompson, of Horse Cave and Betty Money, of Louisville; two brothers, Hugh Richard Edwards and wife Faye, of Horse Cave, Bobby Edwards and wife Lisa, of Munfordville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. until service time Thursday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home.
