Delaney ‘John’ Stinson
HORSE CAVE — Delaney (John) T. Stinson, 85, of Horse Cave, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.
He was a Hart County native, a retired heavy equipment operator, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a 50-plus year member of Rio Verde Masonic Lodge No. 698.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Terry B. Stinson and Florence E. Dishman Stinson; two brothers, Kenneth Stinson (infant) and Dale Stinson.
Survivors iInclude his wife, Dorothy Payton Stinson, of Horse Cave; daughter, Melanie Stinson, of Horse Cave; son, William Terry Stinson, of Bowling Green; granddaughter, Payton Ann Bryant, of Horse Cave; great-grandson Jayden Sturgeon, of Horse Cave; niece, Del Rita Hay, of Horse Cave; and great-nephew, Chris Hay, of Horse Cave.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Winn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
