GLASGOW — Dorothy Davis

GLASGOW – Dorothy Davis, 71, of Glasgow, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Semones and Ona Tucker Semones.

She is survived by five children: Ona “Ree Ree” Standifer, Donna Hayes, Rhonda Harper, Tonya Harper Ballard and Charles Thomas Weaver; two brothers: Butch Semones and Wally Semones; one sister, Alma Hodges; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clifton Davis.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Baldock – Shirley Cemetery. Visitation will be at the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marcia Davis

GLASGOW – Marcia Davis, 63, of Glasgow, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

A native of Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Harland and Gertrude Hiltabilde Bennett, a homemaker and a member of Cave City Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Brad Davis; six children: Mary Ann, Brenda, Jenny Price and husband Mark, Harold Jr., David, and Daniel; one brother, Stanley Bennett and wife Aletha; three sisters: Catherine, Deborah, and Mary Jane; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Isaac; one sister, Barbara; and two brothers, Gerald and David.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Mammoth Cave Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bobby Junior Huff

SUMMER SHADE – Bobby Junior Huff, 76, of Summer Shade, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Monroe Co. Health & Rehab.

He was a son of the late Taylor and Girdle Brown Huff and member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters, Anita (Billy) Rhoton, of Tompkinsville, and Kathy Milam, of Summer Shade; two sons, Randell (Tammy) Huff, of Glasgow, and Stevie (Vickie) England, of Tompkinsville; grandchildren, Lori Beth Ferguson, Chris Blakley, Barry Rhoton, Betina Copas and Steven Moody; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Blane Ferguson and Katherine Kiebel; three sisters, Sheila Garmon, of Burkesville, Rachel Ballard, of Edmonton, and Betty Newlander, of Indiana; one brother, Stevie Huff, of Glasgow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Devonia Huff; one brother, Marvin Huff; one sister, Linda Huff; and one grandson, Bradley Blakley.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Bean officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mount Hermon Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Old Mount Hermon Cemetery.
