GLASGOW — Mayoma Underwood, 83, of Glasgow, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow.
The Barren County native was the daughter of the late Samuel and Crystal Lenora Hall Hagan.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Thomas Bunch and Howard Underwood; a brother, Carlie Hagan; and a grandson, Anthony Todd Combs.
Mrs. Underwood was an employee of the Kentucky Pants Factory and was a member of South Fork Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Combs and husband, Marvin, and Becky Lee and husband, Mike; a son, Barry Bunch and wife, Marilyn, all of Glasgow; three stepchildren, Carolyn Norris, Donella Bowles and husband Dexter, and Jerry Underwood, all of Glasgow; a sister, Evelyn Cash, of Glasgow; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Robert ‘Steve’ Williams
WOODBURN — Robert “Steve” Williams, 70, of Woodburn, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at The Medical Center at Franklin.
Born in Barren County the son of the late J.D. Williams and Velma Spann Patterson, he was a self-employed truck driver for over 35 years and a member of Glasgow Faith Church.
Survivors include four children, Alisa Scott Garrison (Howard), of Glasgow, Candida Kingery Redman (Trent), of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Jerilynn DeMille (Stacey), of East Stroudsburg, Penn., and Kimberly M. Dieffenderfer, of Lewisburg, Penn.; two brothers, Philip G. Williams, of Glasgow, and Douglas J. Williams, of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Jeri L. Marsh, of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Jesse H. Scott, Derek M. Garrison and Eric F. Garrison, all of Glasgow, Brianna F. Kingery, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., and Riley G. DeMille, of East Stroudsburg, Penn.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, James D. Williams.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
