Nancy Bertram Bush
GLASGOW — Nancy Bertram Bush, 73, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was born Sept. 8, 1934, to Haskell and Mercedes Bertram. Mrs. Bush was a retired teacher of the Glasgow Independent School System. After her retirement, she was an active volunteer at the Museum of the Barrens and enjoyed many countless hours researching family history. A lifelong member of the First Christian Church of Glasgow, she was actively involved in the church choir and was a member of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Reid Bush; five children: Sue (Joe) Muse, Mike (Karen) Bush, and Kay Bush, all of Glasgow, Steve (Wendy) Bush of Rineyville, and Lesley (Todd) Cagle of Franklin; nine grandchildren: Brian Muse, Ashley (Derek) Moore, Drew Tuck, Seth Bush, Abby Tuck, Jacob Bush, Allyson Spears, Patrick Spears and Megan Spears; two great-grandchildren: Trevor and Lindsey Moore; one brother: Hack (Lillian) Bertram of Glasgow; three sisters-in-law: Mary Bush of Glasgow, Reba Bush of Franklin and Velma Bush of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at the First Christian Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Museum of the Barrens or the First Christian Church.
Ruby Irene Nabors Emberton
GLASGOW — Ruby Irene Nabors Emberton, 97, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
Her arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
CENTER — Fraser Hodges, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at the Commonwealth Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. He was the son of the late Herbert and Trudie Fraser Hodges. He was a member of the Center United Methodist Church for 74 years, and was on the conservation district board for 57 years, board of directors of Farmers RECC for 40 years, and a member of the James F. Keel Lodge for 60 years.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with Brother John Osgatharp officiating.
Visitation is Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 6 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the church, with Rev. Stanford Dixon and Bishop Allen Dice officiating.
Interment will be at Allen Seminary Cemetery, Hardyville.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
