SUMMER SHADE – Tammy Lynn Branham, 46, of Summer Shade, died April 17, 2013, at her home.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by McMurtrey Funeral Home in Summer Shade.
BOWLING GREEN – Philip Brownfield, 72, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
Philip was born February 8, 1941, to the late Chester and Maude Smith Brownfield in Barren County, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Slaughter Brownfield; two daughters, Alys Howard and husband Tim, of Bowling Green, and Cattie Brownfield-Fitzgerald, of Cave City; three granddaughters, Zoe Brownfield, Nena Howard and Eliza May-Fitzgerald.
Visitation will begin Friday, April 19, 2013, from 2 until 8 p.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. A private graveside service will be conducted Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Horse Cave Cemetery.
A memorial dinner will be held Saturday at Cave City Baptist Church at 3 p.m. for friends and family.

GLASGOW – Ralph Morgan, 87, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Barren County Health Care Center.
A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Clifford and Letha Lewis Morgan. He was a retired educator after 38 years of service. He taught in the Glasgow and Caverna school systems, but most of his career was with the Barren County Board of Education. He also served as bus driver and later as bus monitor. He was a member of Glasgow Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nell; one son, Chip Morgan, of Glasgow; one brother, Ray Morgan, of Glasgow; three sisters, Mildred Wheat and Clara Younger, both of Glasgow, and Wilma Schiefelbein and her husband Addison, of Louisville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Morgan, of Columbus, Ind., and one sister, Shirley Ann Morgan, of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 7 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to National Parkinson Foundation.
