Sarah M. Bryant
FREETOWN, Ind. – Sarah M. Bryant, 87, of Freetown, Ind., died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at her home in Freetown, Ind.
Born on May 9, 1925, in Tompkinsville, she was a daughter of the late John Hagan and Lona (Botts) Hagan. In 1938, she married Otha Bryant and he precedes her in death.
Graveside services will be at Old Mount Herman Cemetery on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Tim McHenry officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
SCOTTSVILLE – Allen Capps, 81, of Scottsville, formerly of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Cal Turner Rehab in Scottsville.
Allen was born in Tompkinsville, on March 17, 1932, a son of the late Bertha Ann (Daniels) and Tilda Tee Capps.
Cremation was chosen by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
Peggie Irene Cole
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Peggie Irene Cole, 75, of Evansville, Ind., died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at her residence.
The Sioux City, Iowa, native was a daughter of the late Teddy Arndt and Jane Earlene Pulver Hinken.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Brother Michael Lawrence officiating and burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Mount Olivet Cemetery. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
Rolena Maxey Greathouse
BOWLING GREEN – Rolena Maxey Greathouse, 88, of Bowling Green, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
She was the daughter of the late J.A. and Eula Maxey, and wife of the late Leroy Greathouse.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
CEDAR SPRINGS – Ronnie Houchin, 74, of Cedar Springs, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at his residence.
He was hotel manager for the National Park Concessions, U.S. Army veteran, member of McClure Masonic Lodge #539 F&AM and member of Cedar Spring United Baptist Church.
The Edmonson County native was the son of the late Hamilton Houchin and the late Una Tarter Houchin.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Houchin; one son, Randy Houchin and fiancée Donna Tapscott, of Cedar Springs; one sister, Yvonne Houchin Campbell, of Cedar Springs; one brother, Roger Houchin and wife Connie, of California; and two grandsons, Jean-Luc Houchin and Andrew K. Houchin, both of Bowling Green.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 19. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel. Interment will be at Lambert Cemetery, Brownsville.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
