GLASGOW — Patricia Kelton Cleary

EDMONTON – Patricia Kelton Cleary, 65, of Edmonton,

formerly of Tompkinsville, passed away Wednesday,

April 10, 2013, at Hospice House in Bowling

Green.

Patricia was born in

Tompkinsville on Oct. 2,

1947, a daughter of the late

Rudell (Goode) and Jimmy

Ray Kelton.

She worked as a seamstress

in various sewing factories

and was a member of

the Church of Christ.

Patricia is survived by one

daughter, Terri, wife of

Chris Gibson, of Edmonton;

one sister, Pamela Kelton, of

Edmonton; and one brother,

Terry Kelton, of Bowling

Green.

She was preceded in death

by her parents, Rudell and Jimmy Ray Kelton, and her

husband, Billy Ray Cleary.

Funeral services will be conducted at Yokley Trible

Funeral Home, Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 11:30 a.m.

Visitation will begin Friday, April 12, 2103, from 3 to

9 p.m. and Saturday 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

Deloris Ellen Lowery

GLASGOW – Deloris Ellen Lowery, 77, of Glasgow,

died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community

Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Viola

Spradlin Gosser and the wife of the late Garnett Lowery.

She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Turner and

her husband Clyde and Charlotte Wilson and her husband

Tracy; two grandchildren, Aubree Turner and Tanner

Wilson; three brothers, Frank Gosser and his wife

Sue, Marvin Gosser and his wife Flo and Walter Gosser

and his wife Kathy; five sisters, Mary Jane Hardin, Edna

Jewell Gosser, Linda Norris and her husband Randel,

Wanda Bennett and her husband Donnie and Delphia

Ann England and her husband Charles.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one

brother, Howard Gosser; and two sisters, Hazel Gosser

and Betty Petro.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler

Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral

home.

Ollie Estes Oakes

EDMONTON – Ollie Estes Oakes, 90, of Edmonton,

died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community

Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Ione

Williams Nichols.

Mrs. Estes was a retired school teacher and member of

Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, David and wife Linda

Estes, of Edmonton, three grandchildren, Jillian and husband

Joe Miller, of Edmonton, Patrick Shirley, of Edmonton,

Tyler Estes and partner Joele Denis, of Brooklyn,

N.Y.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband, Reid Oakes, and one sister, Mary Price.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Butler Funeral

Home in Edmonton with burial in Metcalfe County

Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8

p.m. at the funeral home.

James Henry Thomas

GLASGOW – James Henry Thomas, 69, of Glasgow,

died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at T. J. Samson Community

Hospital.

The Barren County native was a son of the late

Georgie Ruel Thomas and Marie Borders Thomas. He

was a retired employee of Houchens Markets after 35

years of service. He was an avid fisherman and hunter,

and enjoyed working with horses. He was of the Baptist

faith.

He was the loving husband of Rebecca Sharp Thomas

and loving father of James Kelly Thomas; he is also survived

by two brothers, Terry Thomas and wife Linda,

and Dickie Thomas, all of Glasgow; two sisters, Sarah

Ann Pace and husband Paul,

of Glasgow, and Betty Carol

Goode and husband Doug,

of Sevierville, Tenn.; a sister-

in-law, Beverly Sharp

Bulle and husband Steve, of

Glasgow; a brother-in-law,

David Sharp and wife Terri,

of Glasgow; and several

nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents,

he was preceded in death by

one brother, Billy Thomas,

and by four sisters, Edna

Mae Stone, Barbara June

Pace, Georgia Lou McGonigle

and Geneva Louis Thomas.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hatcher &

Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral

home.

The family wishes to take this opportunity to thank

everyone who said a prayer, visited or called to check on

James. We express special thanks to the staff at T.J.

Samson Hospice who provided such tender care for

James and especially Dr. Alison Campbell and Dr. Craig

Tyree.

Thomas Turner

BURKESVILLE – Thomas Turner, 65, of Burkesville,

died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his residence.

Tom was born Oct. 6, 1947, in Deputy, Ind. to the late

James C. and Callie (Watts) Turner. He

was a former nurse at Cookeville Medical

Center and a veteran of the Vietnam war.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded

in death by four siblings, Beulah

Elkins, Cleta Morgan, O.V. Turner and

Eula Mae Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Sue Turner, of

Burkesville; five children, Jackie Turner Wilson, of O'-

Fallon, Ill., Anthony Turner, of Owensboro, Lane Turner,

of Madison, Ind., and Seth Turner and Christian Turner,

both of Burkesville; four brothers, G.B. Turner, of

Owenton, Kenny Turner and George Turner, both of

Bedford, and James Turner, of Milton; three sisters,

Louise Sutter, of Blocher, Ind., Cassie Bebham, of Commiskey,

Ind., and Thelma Marcum, of Worthfield, Ind.;

11 grandchildren, Josh Turner, Ryan Turner, Chelsea

Turner, Mason Turner, Jake Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Elijah

Turner, Ava Turner, Callie Turner, Isabella Turner and

Kennedy Layne Turner; three great-grandchildren, Bentley

Voris, Paisley Voris and Dylan Turner; and a host of

other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral service will be Sunday, April 14, 2013, at 1

p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main

St., Burkesville, Ky., with Brother Raymond Castillo officiating.

Burial will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Family requests visitation after 5 p.m. Saturday,

April 13, 2013, at the funeral home.

EDMONTON – Bernia Janes Sparks Froedge, 90, of

Edmonton, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Taylor

Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. Funeral services

will be 1 p.m. Friday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton

with burial in Edmonton Cemetery. Visitation

will be after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

BOWLING GREEN – William R. “Billy” Gott, 62,

of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the

Medical Center. Funeral service will be Friday at noon

at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green

Chapel, with burial in Berea Cemetery.

GLASGOW – William Faunus Marrs (Bill), died in

Louisville, on April 9, 2013, at the age of 64. Visitation

will be at First United Methodist Church on Friday

from 3 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until

funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at

Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral

Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of

flowers, the family requests donations to Community

Medical Care of Glasgow, the Community Relief Fund

or the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
