GLASGOW — Anna Ruth Hale

GLASGOW — Anna Ruth Hale, 90, of the Hydro Community, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at NHC Healthcare Center in Glasgow.

Born in Lucas, she was the daughter of the late Geanie and Susan Rigdon Magers and the wife of the late Robert Hale. Mrs. Hale was a homemaker and member of Bon Ayr Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Reva Hood and husband Neal, Rita Peavler and husband Larry, Rhonda Watt, all of Bowling Green, and Rebecca Lowe, of Hydro; three sisters, Opal Reece, of Louisville, Nell Howard, of Clarfield, Calif., and Mildred Jewell, of Horse Cave; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Roberta Hale; three sons-in-law, C. B. Lowe, Don Watt and Royce Creek; one sister, Marie Lyons; two brothers, William and James Magers.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Hydro. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the funeral home.

Carol Williams

HORSE CAVE — Carol Elizabeth Williams, 48, of Horse Cave, died  at 9:54 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Morgantown.  

She was a native of Mobile, Ala., and the daughter of the late Herman Leo Cobb and Marion Bernice Anderson Cobb.

She is survived by her husband, Mason Williams, of Horse Cave

Funeral services for Carol Elizabeth Williams will be noon Monday, March 11, at Christ Gospel Apostolic Church with Brother Jimmy Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Cub Run.

Sego Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
