Fredia Carol Copas Crowe
TOMPKINSVILLE – Fredia Carol Copas Crowe, 75, of Tompkinsville, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at her home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1938, in Monroe County, to the late Adolphus Copas and Mildred White Copas. She was a homemaker and a member of Beautiful Home Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on Aug. 18, 1956, to Wayne Crowe in Celina, Tenn.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Crowe of Tompkinsville; two sons, Bobby Crowe and wife, Cathy, of Gamaliel and Darrell Crowe and wife, Renea, of Tompkinsville; two daughters, Brenda Burgess and husband, Hillary, of Gamaliel and
Sharon Biggerstaff and husband, Jimmy, of Tompkinsville; two brothers, Arnold Copas of Scottsville and Roger Copas of Watertown, Tenn.; a sister, Marjorie Cooper of Nashville, Ind.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Carol Crowe, and a sister, Dorris Mings.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery. Visitation continues at 7 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
