William ‘Jack’ Harrison
BOWLING GREEN – William Jackson “Jack” Harrison, 82, of Bowling Green, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
He was the son of the late William Rumsey and Elva Elizabeth Meredith Harrison.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Edmonson County with military honors. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Clara Jean Grider
CAVE CITY – Clara Jean Grider, 78, of Cave City, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green.
Clara was born in Barren County, was a homemaker and a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamula Jean Neace; husband, John Henry Bradley; parents, Luther Owen Grider and Mary Alice Barton Grider; three brothers, Robert, Dave and Owen Grider, and a sister, Claudia Grider.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Massey and husband Larry, of Horse Cave; six grandchildren, Jonathan and Misty, Timothy and Marecil, Christopher, Henry and Ricky; six great-great grandchildren; sister, Faye Grider, of Cave City; brother, Thurman Grider, of Cave City; two nephews and two nieces.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, and after 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at the funeral home.
Nona Iva Lowe
GLASGOW – Nona Iva Lowe, 97, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Highland Ridge Assisted Living in Glasgow. Funeral services are incomplete at this time, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
Janet L. Riddell
MOUNT STERLING – Janet L. Riddell, 52, of Mount Sterling, passed away Thursday, Aug.1, 2013, at Saint Joseph-Mount Sterling Hospital.
She was born July 24, 1961, the daughter of Mary Reagan and the late Wallace Aaron Emberton. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ in Frankfort.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Riddell, of Mount Sterling; her mother, Mary R. Emberton, of Tompkinsville; stepdaughter, Sarah Riddell, of Elizabethtown; two sisters, her twin, Joyce Medina, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Jackye Stockton, of Frankfort.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Machpelah Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday morning from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mike Medina, Michael Medina, James Riddell, Dana Riddell, Darrell Boone and Timothy Riddell.
Chad Allen White
GLASGOW – Chad Allen White, 36, of Glasgow, died Friday Aug. 2, 2013, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.
He was born in Warren County, the son of Carson White and Phyllis Pickerel Morgan, both of Glasgow, and who survive.
Chad was a 1995 graduate of Glasgow High School and graduated from Western Ky. University in 2000. He was vice president of operations for Edmonton State Bank and was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. On May 9, 2010, he announced his calling to the ministry and was currently pastor of Summer Shade Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Lori Mutter White; two children, Kassidy and Tyler White; his grandfather, Homer White, of Edmonton; his father and mother-in-law, Joe and Linda Mutter, of Glasgow; and his aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday and continue throughout the day on Sunday and then Monday morning until time for the service.

SUMMER SHADE – Jessica Raylene Young, 25, of Summer Shade, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.
She is the daughter of Shelby Thomas, of Summer Shade and the late Marilyn Priscilla Young-Thomas.
She is also survived by her fiancé, Billie Tomblin, of Summer Shade; son, Benson Tomblin; brother, Benjamin Joel Thomas, of Summer Shade; three sisters, Amanda Lopez, Amber Thomas and Tamika Thomas, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; grandmother, Ova Thomas, of Summer Shade; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Cedar Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
