Ocie Delmer Adams
TOMPKINSVILLE – Ocie Delmer Adams, 91, of Tompkinsville, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
Ocie was born in Tompkinsville on May 2, 1922, a son of the late Florence (Humes) and Everett Adams. On April 13, 1945, he married Olene (White) Adams, who precedes him in death.
Graveside services will be at Old Mount Herman Cemetery at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, with Mark Bow, Tom Hull and Jack Paul Scott officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
Margery Mathis Henderson
BURKESVILLE – Mrs. Margery Mathis Henderson, 79, of Burkesville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Henderson Hurt, of Burkesville; her siblings, Caleb Mathis Jr., Jimmie Mathis, both of Hopkinsville, Dr. Don Mathis, of Bowling Green, and Sharon Brege, of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services for Margery Mathis Henderson will be conducted Friday, Aug. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Memory chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with burial in Grider Memorial Cemetery in Cumberland County. The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, until service time Friday.

Roberta Reece Walter
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Roberta Reece Walter, 66, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Edmonton, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Summit Medical Center in Nashville.
She was the daughter of Robert Reece, of Edmonton and the late Marjorie Wallace Reece. Roberta was a retired teacher and member of the Edmonton Methodist Church and Andrew Price Methodist Church.
Besides her father, she is survived by two children, Reece Walter and Whitney Johnston and husband Tom, all of Lexington; one brother, Bobby Reece, of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Neely and Kasen Johnston.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Edmonton Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
