— Sara Coffman Bryant
GLASGOW — Sara Coffman Bryant, 91, of Glasgow, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow.
She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late William Perry Coffman and the late Mary Woods Richardson Coffman. Mrs. Bryant was retired social worker employed by the Kentucky Department of Social Services. She was a graduate of Centre College in Danville. A member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Edmund Roger’s Chapter and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Glasgow.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Woods Nash (Mike) of Glasgow, Catherine Clark Brantley (Perry) of Glasgow and Sarah Scott Waterfill (Steve) of Louisville. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joseph Allen Bryant.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. until time for services.
