Ronald Ellis Adwell
BOWLING GREEN– Ronald Ellis Adwell, 55, of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at The Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Russell Ellis Adwell and Ovine Cowles Adwell, who survives.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
GLASGOW – Alexander Elliott, 82, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
He was a native of Barren County, and was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. He served during World War II, Korean and Vietnam wars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shed Robert Elliott and Stella Lawson Elliott; wife Celestine Oliver Elliott and four brothers.
He is survived by two sons, Alexander Elliott Jr., and Howard Eugene Elliott, both of Moreno Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Keran (Walter) Harrington, of Urbana, Ill., two grandchildren, Matthew Elliott Harrington and Kyle Catherine Harrington; one great-grandchild, Alexander Elliott Harrington; a brother-in-law, Dorkin Riggins (Barbara), of Woodbridge, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Cobert Jean Depp Elliott, of Glasgow and Ruby Oliver, of New York, N.Y., and a dear companion Jane Hayes.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Johnson Chapel CME Church. Burial will follow at Oddfellow Cemetery in Glasgow. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Johnson Chapel CME Church.

Raymond L. Harlow
GLASGOW – Raymond L. Harlow, 80, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at his home.
Born in Barren County, he was the son of the late Jimmy and Lucille Walker Harlow. He was the owner and operator of Harlow’s Auto and Wrecker Service in Glasgow and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
He is survived by three sons, Rex Harlow, Jerry Birge (Tommie) and Ronnie Birge (Debbie), all of Glasgow; one daughter, Debbie Shackleford (Jim), of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Birge (Jenny), Kathy Murray (Maxie), Jonathan Birge (Miranda), Brandon Birge, Adam Birge (Kristian), Jamie Shackleford and Paige Shackleford; four great-grandchildren, Hardison and Kailey Birge and Madison and Kaden Murray; two sisters, Joyce Jones (Doug) and Louise McGuire, of Glasgow; two brothers, Leslie Harlow (Linda), of Glasgow and Ronnie “Footsie” Harlow (Sheila), of Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived a special friend, Nicole Simon and his best friend Roxie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Jean Goode Harlow; a sister, Evelyn Martin and four brothers, Deward, Lester, Harold and Rex Harlow.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Neal’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is in progress and will continue on Saturday morning until time for services.
Omar Hatfield Jr.
MUNFORDVILLE – Omar Hatfield Jr., 77, of Munfordville, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at his home. He was a son of the late Omar and Ida Hawkins Hatfield.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Jean Hatfield.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Brother Thomas Hatfield and Brother Ben Benningfield officiating. Burial will be in Timberlake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Johnna Sierra Price
CUB RUN – Johnna Sierra Price, 24, of Cub Run, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
Johnna is survived by her parents, Johnny and Gracie Riggs Price.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Brother Randall Kessinger officiating. Burial will be in Timberlake Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
CAVE CITY – Louise Puckett, 68, of Cave City, died Thursday, Jan.16, 2014, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Clarence Dewey and Lillie Pearl Dennis Philpott.
She is survived by her husband, James Hillard Puckett.
Graveside service for Louise Puckett will be 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Center Point Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon at Sego Funeral Home.
Ruby Cox Ramsey
CAVE CITY – Ruby Cox Ramsey, 87, of Cave City, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at the home of her daughter. She was a native of Edmonson County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest O. Ramsey.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery at Cave City. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 until 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until funeral time on Monday.
GLASGOW – Amy Marie Eubank, 23, and her unborn son, Connor Joseph Wayne Puccio, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Eubank Cemetery.
BOWLING GREEN – Howard E. Hester, 75, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Greenview Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Burial will be in Felts Cemetery in Logan County.
