HORSE CAVE — Blanche Larimore, 98, of Horse Cave, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec.1, 2012, at Caverna Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hart County and a member of Horse Cave Baptist Church, she was also a former longtime member of Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Leon Larimore, on Nov. 8, 2004; her parents, Ed and Rena Crain Lile; a brother, Carl Lile; and two sisters, Lera Mouser and Bessie Barbour.
She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Broady and her husband Levy, of Horse Cave; her granddaughter, Debra Goodman and her husband Billy, of Horse Cave; her great-grandson, Nicholas Goodman, of Hilton Head Island, S. C.; her sister, Lovie Nell Mouser, of Horse Cave, and also by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial to follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Monday Dec. 3, and after 9 a.m. until funeral time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

GLASGOW — Helen Francis Thompson Roeder, 83, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Glasgow Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Barren County, she was born the oldest of five children to the late Haskel and Ova Francis. She was an L.P.N. at T. J. Samson Hospital, Glasgow State Hospital and in Louisville for 37 years.
She is survived by two sons, Jim Thompson (Kaye) and Bobby Roeder (Sandy); two sisters, Jean Bybee (Dick) and Patricia Kerley (Hershel); one brother, Howard Francis (Ruthann); 10 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her family at Glasgow Health and Rehabilitation, where she resided for over 10 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Vera Nell McCoy.
Helen’s request was to be cremated. No visitation or funeral services are scheduled at this time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
