GLASGOW — Alice Brown

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Alice Gertrude Brown, 92, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis.

Alice was born July 24, 1920, the daughter of Clarence Elmore and Julia Elizabeth Russell, who are deceased. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Brown, of Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and 6 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Bessie Clark

LOUISVILLE — Bessie DeVore Clark, 92, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. She was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center.

She is survived by daughters, Carol Warren (Sonny), Peggy Miles, Georgia Coleman, Bonnie Myers (Mike); stepchildren, Meredith Clark, Joe Clark and Teresa Sailings; sister, Callie Sisk; brother, Levi Spradlin; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her funeral is 10 a.m. EST Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. CST at Randolph Cemetery, Edmonton. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. EST Monday at the funeral home.

Terrell Emberton

TOMPKINSVILLE — Terrell Eugene Emberton, 61, of Tompkinsville, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at his home.

He was born Dec. 5, 1950, a son of Velma Bryant Emberton, of Tompkinsville, and the late Selby Eugene Emberton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with Brother Gary Emberton officiating. Burial will be in Bethleman Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home. Donations to the Emberton family.

Henry Forbis

SUMMER SHADE — Henry Lee Forbis, 47, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at home. He was a son of Walter Stanley and the late Virginia Riley Forbis. He was a farmer.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, John Forbis of Summer Shade and Frank Forbis and wife Marilyn, of Hopkinsville; one niece, AmyLynn Wilson and husband Jason, of Elkton; and two great nieces, Jacey and Jamie Wilson.

Gravesite services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at White Cemetery with Brother Mark Parks officiating and burial to follow. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Monday at McMurtrey Funeral Home and continue until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, when the funeral presession will make its way to the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or White Cemetery c/o McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY 42166.
