Alicia Nicole Deckard Robinson, 38, of Glasgow

Alicia Nicole Deckard Robinson, 38, of Glasgow, died Wednesday July 2, 2014, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of the late James O. Deckard Sr. and Ruby (Pickett) Deckard of Glasgow, who survives. She was a homemaker and member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene.

Alicia lived her life to reflect her soul and spirit. She had a great belief in God and his blessings. Her greatest pleasures in life came from spending time with family and friends. She was always joyous and positive throughout her life’s journey. She lived every day to the fullest and as if it was her last. She was loved by many and will be remembered by all.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Shannon Robinson of Glasgow; two sons, Christian Robinson, age 13, and Briley Robinson, age 15, both of Glasgow; her mother-in-law, Nancy Robinson of Glasgow; a brother, James Deckard Jr. (Pauletta) of Glasgow; four sisters, Glenda Gardner (Sammy) of Clarksville, Tenn., Vera Blythe (Gary) of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Kim Kingrey (Randy) of Glasgow and Tina S. Duvall (David) of Cave City; three sisters-in-law, Wendy Burke (Forrest) of Glasgow, Beth Kingrey (Davis Lindsey) of Bowling Green and Marketta Robinson of Glasgow; two brothers-in-law, Jason Lindsey of Bowling Green and Doug Robinson (Jackie) of Glasgow. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene, with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Arrangements provided by A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Pediatric Center at Kosair Hospital of Louisville.
