Lorraine Teresa Theriault Marks
SCOTTSVILLE – Lorraine Teresa Theriault Marks, died Wednesday July 31, 2013, at her residence.
She was the wife of the late Jack Marks, and daughter of the late Nelson Edward Theriault and Lillian Bernard Theriault.
Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, and after 7:30 a.m. on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home, Scottsville Chapel.
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the funeral home and a separate service will be 1 p.m. at Oakwood Mennonite Church on Hinton Road in Allen County.
Christine Fidella Shipley
GLASGOW – Christine Fidella Shipley, 82, formerly of Glasgow, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Rosewood Health & Rehab Center in Bowling Green.
A daughter of the late Ester and Lola Houchens Davis, she was a homemaker and a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Shirley and husband Leon; one granddaughter, Brandi Turner and husband Jason; two great-granddaughters, Courtney and Alexandria Turner; and one sister, Catherine Wiley, all of Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, J.T. Davis, of Scottsville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
SOMERSET – Vincent Scott Barbour died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. EST Friday at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton, Ohio, with burial to follow. GLASGOW – Elvin C. Copass, 82, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
