GLASGOW — Joe Eagle Eubank

GAMALIEL – Joe Eagle Eubank, 75, of Gamaliel, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at his home in Gamaliel.

He was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Monroe County, to the late Esta Eubank Sr. and Blana Emberton Eubank. He was a dairy farmer and a member of the Gamaliel United Methodist for 56 years. He was united in marriage on Nov. 12, 1955, to Geraldine Wilson in Tompkinsville.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Wilson Eubank, of Gamaliel; one son, Johnny (Sherree) Eubank of Gamaliel; one daughter, Beth (Greg) Kesel of Saint Louis, Mo.; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Wilson, of Gamaliel; six grandchildren, Sarah (Bart) Jones, of Lafayette, Tenn., Laura (Paul) Trupka, of St. Louis, Mo., Mary (Michael) Johnston, of Urbana, Ill., Josh Eubank, of Gamaliel, Stephen Kesel, of Greensboro, Ala., Christy Eubank, of Louisville; one great-grandson, Ty Wilson Jones, of Lafayette, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Rex, Esta Jr. and Carl Eubank; two sisters, Anita Crowe and Imogene Eubank; a grandchild, John David Eubank and father-in-law, Dewey Wilson.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m. at Strode’s Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel, with burial to follow in Old Rocky Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Old Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Malcolm Eugene Harlow

PARK CITY – Malcolm Eugene Harlow, 87, of Park City, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.

He was born in Barren County, a son of the late Don Q. and Gladys Boston Harlow. Mr. Harlow was a painter and a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a collector of clocks and enjoyed model trains. He was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Pennycuff Harlow; one daughter, Diana Taylor and husband Craig, of Bowling Green; one granddaughter, Tammy Moran, of Nashville; a brother, Joe Harlow and wife Doerathean, of Glasgow; a niece, Joetta Kelley and husband Jim, of Murray; and a great-niece and nephew Abby and Joseph Kelley.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Bon Ayr Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time for the service.
