Gilbert Frank Niehaus

OWENSBORO – Gilbert Frank Niehaus, 69, of Owensboro, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at his brother’s home in Glasgow after an illness. 

He was the son of the late Frank Edward and Virginia Long Niehaus. Mr. Niehaus was self-employed and was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member  of the Crooked Creek Cooking Community Charity Organization.

 Survivors include Gill and Linda Bosely; two brothers, John Niehaus (Tammy) of Glasgow, and Joe Niehaus (Doris) of Owensboro; and a sister, Nancy Brown (Bob) of Apple Valley, MN.

The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. A.F. Crow & Son is in charge of arrangements.

 

Lauraetta Jean Norris

GLASGOW – Lauraetta Jean Norris, 56, of Lucas, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. 

She was the daughter of the late Vincent Taylor Norris and Mary Elizabeth Elmore Norris. She was a retired housekeeping supervisor of Barren River State Park.

She is survived by two brothers, Charles Norris and Len Norris; one sister, Annetta Cook; one niece, Melissa Annette Roach and her husband Kevin; two uncles, Jim Ed Norris and Elwood Chandler; two special friends, Eden Thompson and Ed Baker; several cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Tracy Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Joseph James Regnier

BOWLING GREEN – Joseph James Regnier, 75, of Bowling Green, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at the Medical Center at Scottsville.

He was the son of the late Joseph Raymond Regnier and Olga Melby Regnier and husband of the late Mary Jo DeFoe Regnier.

Funeral mass will be noon Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4754 Smallhouse Road, Bowling Green, under direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
