GLASGOW — David Odus McDowell

ELIZABETHTOWN – David Odus McDowell, 94, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Bonnieville, passed away at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. The Bonnieville native was the son of the late L.G. and Dovie Brackett McDowell.

Mr. McDowell was a retired postmaster, a U.S. Army veteran of World Ware II, a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Elizabethtown and a former member of the Bonnieville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Frances; a daughter, Beverly Dunn and husband Larry, of Versailles; a son, Gary McDowell and wife Macy Rae, of Munfordville; three grandchildren, Monica Dunn, Stephen McDowell and John McDowell; five great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, Opal Dixon.

Funeral services for David Odus McDowell will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in Memory Park Cemetery at Bonnieville. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. and will continue Sunday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests that memorial donations be given to Hosparus. The donations may be left at the funeral home.



Patrick ‘Pat’ Mills

GLASGOW – Aaron Patrick “Pat” Mills, 54, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville after a sudden illness. He was born in Glasgow, the son of the late Lloyd Albert and Clara Marie Hagan Mills. Pat was an employee of Wal-Mart for over 21 years and with his wife owned and operated Brenda’s Day Care. He was a former member of the Hiseville and South Barren Volunteer Fire Departments and was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Hart County.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bushong Mills; a son, Keith Mills and wife Kristy, of Glasgow; a grandson, Dalton Mills; a sister, Sandra Sue Wilson and husband Clarence, of LeGrande, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Jenetta Patsy Obanion Patterson Clark, 95, of Munfordville, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Funeral service will be at Horse Cave First Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, with Rev. Hugh Heater and Brother K. T. Ford officiating. Interment will be at Morning Star Cemetery in Munfordville.



Nettie Bewley Hudson, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at The Hospice Center in Bowling Green. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at Strode Funeral Home in Scottsville.



Stephen Douglas London, 49, Cave City, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery.
