GLASGOW — Anita Rose Campbell

PARK CITY – Anita Rose Campbell, 79, Park City, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at her residence.

A native of Clinton County, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Estel and Gena Lorene Guinn Gibson. She was a homemaker, a retired employee of Glasgow Dairy Queen, and a member of Glasgow Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include her husband, George L. Campbell; her children, Eugene Campbell and wife Connie; Diana Alane Campbell; David Campbell and wife Barbara; and Sheila Miller; two sisters, Irene Pedigo and husband Turner, and Jean Chase; two brothers, Gilbert Gibson and wife Bonnie, and Steve Gibson; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Miller; one brother, Noel Gibson; and one brother-in-law, Alex Chase.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Artie Ree Clemmons

SCOTTSVILLE – Artie Ree Clemmons, 85, of Scottsville, formerly of Edmonton, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at The Medical Center in Scottsville.  

She was the daughter of the late Willie Virgil and Kizzie Ann Burris Wilson.  

She is survived by her husband, Bob Clemmons, of Scottsville.  

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in  Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m.  Sunday at the funeral home.    



Rose Ann Mesker

GLASGOW – Rose Ann Mesker, 55, of Glasgow, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.

She is the daughter of Marjorie Mills Pruitt and the late Leroy Pruitt.

Besides her mother, she is survived by one son, Scotty Eugene Mesker; one brother, Gary Pruitt and his wife Sue; two sisters, Jackie Powell and her husband David and Susie Pruitt; two nieces, Cheri Powell Kosbiel and Jessie Jones.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one niece, Carrie Barrett.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will after 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.



William Andrew Terry Jr.

GLASGOW – William Andrew Terry Jr., 82, of Glasgow, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

His arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

GLASGOW – Helen Louise Forsyth, 73, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Glasgow Health and Rehab Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McMurtrey Funeral Home. GLASGOW – Careva Wyatt Galloway, 94, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.



TOMPKINSVILLE – Walter Richard Groce, 68, of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at his home in Tompkinsville.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Norris New Funeral Home in Burkesville with burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County. Memorials are suggested to Chestnut Grove Cemetery.



TEMPLE HILL – Willard “Harold” Jackson, 65, of Temple Hill, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.



SCOTTSVILLE – Eddie Preston, 56, of Scottsville, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at The Medical Center in Scottsville. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Strode Funeral Home on Lois Moore Drive in Scottsville. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery in Scottsville.
