GLASGOW — Mary P. Stephens, 95, of Glasgow, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow.
She was born in Metcalfe County, a daughter of the late James and Molly Hood Witty. Mrs. Stephens was a former employee of the Kentucky Restaurant and E. B. Terry School in Glasgow. She was a member of Refuge Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Stephens, wife Barbara, of Glasgow, Jimmy Stephens, wife Ann, of Park City and Joe Stephens, wife Bobbie, of Glasgow; a daughter-in-law, Donna Stephens, of Glasgow; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Edwards, of Glasgow and Thelma Hucklebee, of Nevada and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Marchel Stephens, two sons, Roger and Ronnie Stephens, a grandson and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday, June 9 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Randolph.
Visitation is in progress and will continue Monday morning until time for the service.
