GLASGOW — Billy Long, 80, of Glasgow, died Thursday, May 15, 2014, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
He was born in Cumberland County, the son of the late Ed Long and Gladys Long Borders.
Mr. Long was a farmer and a member of Refuge Church of Christ.
He enjoyed tractor pulling and watching U of K basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Smith Long; four children, Keith Long and wife Connie, Jackie Smith and husband Doug, Ricky Long and wife Kellie B. and Eddie Long and wife Kellie P., all of Glasgow; eight grandchildren, Brian Long (Sally), Jaime Duvall (Nathan), Christopher Smith (Natasha), Ashleigh Grubbs (Macy), Kellen Smith, Britney Robertson (Daniel), Colby and Tanner Long; 14 great-grandchildren Sydney, Grayson, Garrett, Mason, Blaine, Adison, Mia, Landon, Kamden, Konner, Oakleigh, Layla, Sloane and Lera.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday.
