Gladys Corine Neagle Trice, 83, of Madisonville

MADISONVILLE — Gladys Trice, 83, of Madisonville, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, May 8, 2014.

She was born on Nov. 20, 1930, in Rocky Hill, to the late Annie Beckner Neagle and Clayton Neagle Sr. She retired as a teacher from Pride Avenue School. She was a member of Saint Mary's Episcopal Church in Madisonville. She was an active member of several local organizations and an avid world traveler.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin, Leland, William and Clayton Jr. Neagle.

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce (Quincy Ray) Williams, of Louisville, and Beverly (Don) Denton, of Bowling Green; her sister-in-law, Norma Neagle, of Smith Grove; her nieces, Pam Rigdon, Jennifer (Jeff) Fugate and Amanda (Derek) Watt; her nephews, John (Tammy) Neagle, Michael (Ralna) Saxton and Derrick (Candice) Neagle; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on May 18, 2014, at Rocky Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill, with Brother Phillip Beckner officiating.

Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made in Glady's memory to the church or charity of the donors choice.
