Dr. Bartlett Graves Dickinson
GEORGETOWN – Dr. Bartlett “Barty” Graves Dickinson, 74, died Nov. 7, 2013.
He was born Sept. 28, 1939, to the late William and LaVece Ganter Dickinson in Glasgow.
He is survived by his wife, Suetta Wilson Dickinson; sons Bartlett G. Dickinson IV, Jonathan (Jenna Ross) Dickinson, Wilson (Carly) Dickinson, daughter Rebecca Dickinson, and grandson Logan, all of Georgetown; and sisters Mary Dickinson, Georgia (Butch) Peterson and Katie (Bobby) Napier, all of Glasgow, and Betsy (Bill Karsner) Dickinson, of Hixon, Tenn.; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dr. Dickinson earned his doctorate from the University of Kentucky in theoretical physics, was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and taught physics at Georgetown College for 36 years. He was a sixth-generation Disciples of Christ member, an elder, Sunday School teacher and choir member at First Christian Church in Georgetown.
The funeral service was Sunday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church in Georgetown. Graveside services were conducted Monday at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

MUNFORDVILLE – Bennie Page, 77, of Munfordville, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at the home of his daughter. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Whickerville Cemetery.
KNOB LICK – Sherrian Amos Snyder, 55, of Knob Lick, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Edmonton Cemetery.
EDMONTON – Ricky Wallace, 55, of Edmonton, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in New Liberty Cemetery.
