EDMONTON – W.C. Ferguson, 81, of Knob Lick, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Metcalfe County Health Care in Edmonton.
He was the son of the late Joseph Andrew and Blanche Ferguson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Ferguson of Knob Lick; two sons, Calvin Ferguson of Edmonton and Bo Ferguson of Knob Lick; one daughter, Serrelda Ferguson of Knob Lick; one brother, Randall Ferguson of Knob Lick; two sisters, Doris Paige of Munfordville and Nellie McKinney of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Josh Ferguson of Glasgow and Tyler Ferguson of Knob Lick; one step-grandson, David Robertson of Edmonton.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Sherman Ferguson; one brother, Billy Ferguson; and one sister, Lavonne Marr.
Malinda Joyce Johnson
GREENVILLE – Malinda Joyce Johnson, 52, of Greenville, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital ER in Greenville.
The Hart county native was the daughter of the late Clarence and Delores Jean Sweet Jaggers.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Johnson Jr.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Brother. Richard Day officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from noon until time for services at the funeral home.
TOMPKINSVILLE — Ricky “Chigger” Long, 56, of Tompkinsville, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Norton Hospital, in Louisville. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home. Burial will be in Old Soldier Cemetery.
HORSE CAVE — Elmer Dean Short, 86, of Horse Cave, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted at the gravesite by DAV Chapter No. 20 of Glasgow. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be in his memory to the Hospice of one’s choice.
