Edward N. ‘Sonny Fisherman Davidson
GLASGOW – Edward N. “Sonny Fisherman” Davidson, 67, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, in Park City, following a motorcycle accident.
Ed was born in Chicago, Ill., and grew up in Anderson, Ind., where he attended Hazelwood School. Ed finished his years of education in Glasgow, where he attended Park City School and graduated from Ralph Bunche High School. Ed was a former employee of Nabisco Bakers, Martin Automotive and Harley-Davidson. Ed was a member of Ole Rocky Hill Baptist Church. Ed was a retired president of the Flying Dragons Motorcycle Club, where he was affectionately known as “Fisherman.” Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a great love for farming, and loved to ride his motorcycle and socializing with his friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar B. Davidson and Pearline Lewis Davidson; paternal grandparents, Rober and Addie Davidson; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Annie Lewis.
Ed is survived by two daughters, Marchelle Davidson, Rochester, N.Y., and Azirelle Scherie Davidson, Indianapolis, Ind.; one son, Edward Leshon Davidson Jr., Indianapolis, Ind.; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Ms. Ruby Joyce Davidson, Anderson, Ind.; two brothers, Mr. Lenaurd Davidson, Indianapolis, Ind., and Mr. Melvin Davidson, El Paso, Texas; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends, and his companion, Jamie Watson, of Glasgow.
Arrangements are being handled by Burnam & Son Mortuary, Inc., 201 Center St., Bowling Green, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013. Cremation was chosen.
Frances Thomas Brown England
GAMALIEL – Frances Thomas Brown England, 84, of Gamaliel, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.
She was the wife of the late John Frank England, and daughter of the late Willie Brown and Flora Monday Brown.
Visitation will be after noon on Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Center Point Cemetery in Monroe County.
