GLASGOW — Lonnie Edgar Davis, 84, of Glasgow, died Friday, April 4, 2014, at his residence.
He was a son of the late Will B. and Eula Davis and husband of the late Minnie Gaye (Bowles) Davis.
He was retired owner/operator of Davis and Sons produce for many years and a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by five children, Tim Davis “Sherri,” Dwayne Davis “Tonja,” all of Glasgow, Shelia Forrest “Doug,” of Cave City, Twona Gaunt “Barry,” and Kim Bowles “Steven,” both of Bowling Green; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rondal Davis, of Edmonton and Kenneth Davis, of Glasgow; two sisters, Lillian “Lynn” West, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mary Helen “Marilyn” Loscombe, of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by one brother Paul Davis.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
