GLASGOW — Clyde 'Mack' Dickerson
GLASGOW — Clyde McCreary “Mack” Dickerson, 87, of Glasgow, died Friday, May 31, 2013, in Louisville after a sudden illness. He was born in Tompkinsville, the son of the late Clyde H. and Vessie McCreary Dickerson.
Mr. Dickerson was a businessman and a farmer and along with his family, owned and operated Dickerson Lumber Co. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Glasgow Rotary Club and the Refuge Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Margaret Rush Dickerson; two sons, David Dickerson and Carl Dickerson and wife Margie, both of Glasgow; one daughter, Jill Bryant and husband Bob, of Glasgow; seven grandchildren, Elliott Dickerson and wife Deanna, of Glasgow, Mackay Dickerson and wife Stephanie, of Glasgow, Bradley Dickerson, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Sara Dickerson, of Glasgow, Kenton Bryant, of Nashville, Yates Bryant and Conner Bryant, both of Glasgow; two sisters, Joan Anderson and Ella Dickerson, both of Tompkinsville, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam McCreary Dickerson; a sister, Mary Emma Yokley; and his step-mother, Ezma Dickerson Page.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 3, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
