Esther Francis Bryant
TOMPKINSVILLE – Esther Francis Bowden Bryant, 73, of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Monroe Health and Rehab Center.
Esther was born in Indiana on Jan. 6, 1939, a daughter of the late Agnes (Rice) and Carl Dallas Bowden.
Esther was preceded in death by two husbands, Perry Bryant and Kirkland Bryant.
Visitation is in progress at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home and will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with funeral services Saturday at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Scott Pleasant Acres Cemetery.
Dewey Lee Fields
EDMONTON – Dewey Lee Fields, 69, of Edmonton, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 21, 2012.
He was the son of the late Lee and Fannie Compton Fields. He was a farmer and member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
He survived by his wife, June Hubbard Fields; two sons, Greg (Anita) Fields, and Jeff (Kandy) Fields, all of Edmonton; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon (Kayce), Trevor, Marisa, Morgan and Chelsea, all of Edmonton, and Chastity, of Bowling Green; two great-grandsons, Lee and Samuel, both of Edmonton; one brother, Elbert (Marie) Fields, of Edmonton; one brother-in-law, Welby Gibson, and a sister-in-law, Lois Fields, both of Edmonton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky; two sisters, Rosie and Lizzie; three brothers, Phillip, James and Tom; an infant brother and sister; and his father and mother-in-law, BB and Dorothy Hubbard.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, with burial in Foundation Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Floyd Leon Jessie
EDMONTON – Floyd Leon Jessie, 71, of Edmonton, died Friday, June 22, 2012, in Glasgow. He is survived by his wife, Martha. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but under the direction of Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton.
Wallace Thomas Smith
OAKLAND – Wallace Thomas Smith, 84, of Oakland, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
He was the son of the late Ed Smith and Clyde Easton Smith.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday with burial in the family cemetery, located on his farm at Oakland.
