GLASGOW — Charles Boldin
GLASGOW — Charles Junior Boldin, 79, of Glasgow, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at his home.
He was born in Tazwell, Tenn., the son of Charlie M. and Zora Miracle Boldin. He was retired from General Motors and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Boldin was a member of Bethel Independent Baptist Church in Glasgow.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Glenna; two sons, Charles Richard Boldin of Indianapolis, Ind., and Dennis Vaugn Boldin (Penny) of New Lenox, Ill.; four grandchildren, Joseph, James, Shannon and Maegan Boldin; two great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Kayley Boldin; one sister, Geneva Robbins of Middleburg; two brothers, J.G. Boldin of Tinley Park, Ill., and Sewell Boldin of New Tazwell, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Bethel Independent Baptist Church with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday morning until noon at A. F. Crow Son Funeral Home and after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church until time for services.
