Juanita Hicks Delk
GLASGOW — Juanita Hicks Delk, 76, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
She was a daughter of the late Jimmie and Allie Mae Shelley Hicks and a member of Glasgow Baptist Church.
She is survived by one grandson: Randy Dale Delk of Glasgow; one sister: Louise (Darrell) Shaw of Sheffield, Ala.; one brother-in-law: Sherman Bowles of Glasgow; a friend, Carl Mays of Glasgow; one niece: Carolyn Priddy of Upton; and two nephews: Dennis and Jimmy Darrell Shaw of Alabama; several great-nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dale Delk; one son: Barry Dale Delk; and one sister, Edith Bowles.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 23, at 1 p.m. at Glasgow Baptist Church with burial in Summer shade Cemetery. Visitation will begin today (Monday) at 1 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home in Summer Shade and after 111 a.m. Tuesday at the church until funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Summer Shade Cemetery.

Coleen Dyer
TOMPKINSVILLE — Coleen Dyer, 78, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at Monroe Health Care & Rehab in Tompkinsville.
She was the daughter of the late Clyde White and Ella Mae Crawford White and wife of the late Kenneth Ray Dyer.
Funeral services were Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with entombment in Monroe County Memorial Lawn Mausoleum.

Walter McLearran
GLASGOW — Walter McLearran, 69, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
He was the son of the late Bedford McLearran and Margie Meadows McLearran. Survivors include his wife, Bernice McLearran.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2009, at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with burial in Neal Cemetery.

Lula Mae Neagle
TAMPA, Fla. — Lula Mae Neagle, 88, died Friday, June 19, 2009, in Tampa, Fla.
Arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Donna Carole Button Petruzzi
GLASGOW — Donna Carole Button Petruzzi, formerly of Glasgow, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Donna was the daughter of the late Elbert Wayne and Ora Hume Button.
Survivors include her son: Peter Petruzzi Jr. (Wendy); one sister: Wanda Button Kinslow (Leslie); nephews: Kendell Kinslow (Monica), Kyron Kinslow (Kelly); two great-nieces and a nephew: Courtney, Kyle and Kinley Kinslow. Also surviving are very special friends and caregivers, Susan and Johnny Pruitt.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2009, from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Alternate expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Robert Lewis Smith
GLASGOW — Robert Lewis Smith, 79, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
He was the son of the late Lesley and Bertha Clark Smith.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Little Barren Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Monday) at Watts Funeral Home, Glasgow.

PARK CITY – Mary Nell Wiley Thomason, 75, Park City, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral home.

NORTONVILLE – Rebecca June (Curtis) Wabnitz, of Nortonville, died Friday, June 19, 2009. Funeral services will be Tuesday, at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will be today (Monday) from 5 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
