Jannetje Mul Buchanan
GLASGOW — Jannetje Mul Buchanan, 70, of Glasgow, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at her home after an illness. She was born January 30, 1939 in Harlem, Holland, the daughter of the late Peter Jacob Mul and Janetjea Polderman Mul. Mrs. Buchanan was a homemaker and a member of the Cave City Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Buchanan; 2 daughters Maureen Ramaker and Jacqueline Ramaker both of Holland; 2 stepsons Robert Buchanan, Jr. and Christopher Buchanan both of North Carolina; 6 grandchildren, one of Canada, 3 of Holland and 2 of North Carolina; 2 brothers Hotze Mul of Holland and Herumus Mul of Vancouver, Canada, and 2 sisters Petra Mul Rozenhart and Simone Mul DeBoer of Holland.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until time for the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to: “Path Finders,” c/o James Page, 315 N. Dixie Hwy., Cave City, KY 42127.

Mary Ivagee Coulter
GLASGOW — Mary Ivagee Coulter, 77, of Glasgow died Friday, June 12, 2009, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Authur and Annie Norris Shaw. Mary was a loving wife and mother, retired from Kentucky Pants, a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Jessie H. Coulter; one son Stevie H. Coulter and his wife Belinda; one daughter: Vickie Garrison and her husband Garry; four grandchildren: Travis Garrison and his wife Amber, James Dylan Coulter, Jason Glass and his wife Danielle and Etta Dietrick and her husband Eric Dietrich; five great-grandchildren: Erica Dietrich, Erin Dietrich, Evie Dietrich, Emma Dietrich and Harley Glass; three brothers; Johnny Shaw and his wife Brenda, Oakley Shaw and Gary Shaw; one sister: Delsie Hurt.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Nina Morgan.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Lucy Byrd Every
HORSE CAVE — Lucy Byrd Every, 96, died Friday, June 12, 2009, at the Hart County Health Care Center.
She was the daughter of the late Hubbard and Lula Reynolds Smith and wife of the late William Buckles and Andrew Every.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Potters Children’s Home or Christian Home and Bible School.

WaStella Hoover
GLASGOW — WaStella Lohden Hoover, 73, a resident of Britthaven of Bowling Green, died Friday, June 12, 2009, in Bowling Green. A former resident of Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Hattie Richards Williams Lohden, a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly “Susie” West and her husband, Terry, of Goodlettsville, TN, and Amy Parker and her husband, Greg, of Glasgow; three grandsons, Tyler West, Alex West and Austin Parker; one sister, Barbara Watson of Jeffersonville, IN; one brother, Carl Lohden of Jeffersonville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ewing “Buddy” Hoover; four sisters, Christine Atnip, Janie Pearl Lohden, Dorothy Duke and Shirley Lowe; three brothers, J. C. Lohden, Charles Lohden and Hollis Lohden.
Funeral services will be noon Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Todd Steenbergen officiating. Burial will be in the Neal’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

GLASGOW — Marie Matthews, 99, of Glasgow died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. Her arrangements are incomplete but are under the direction of the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

Wilma Oliver
GLASGOW — Wilma Oliver, 85, died Friday, June 12, 2009, at Greenwood Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
She was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Monroe County, the daughter of the late Fred and Laura Belle Bray Hendrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, LeRoyce Oliver, and a son, David Oliver.
Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church since 1946 and was a former employee of Sorensen Mfg. Co. in Glasgow. Her greatest pleasure was staying in touch with her friends and family.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law: Carolyn Rosser and husband, Gregg, and their children of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister: Martha Cole of Bowling Green; two brothers: Fred C. Hendrick and Paul Hendrick and wife, Louvenia, of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

GLASGOW — Richard S. “Buck” Morgan, 63, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at UofL Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
