Minnie M. Elmore
GLASGOW — Minnie M. Elmore, 84, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late D.G. Humphrey Sr. and Alice Wheeler Humphrey. She was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church. She was known for her beautiful flower garden on Kelly Drive.
She is survived by two sons: Billy Elmore and his wife, Bonita, and Brian D. Elmore; one daughter: Betty J. Denton; one brother: Robert Humphrey; one sister: Christine Rainey; eight grandchildren: Gayla Seale, Elizabeth “Beth” Sheesley, Michelle Inman, Ronnie Powell, Kimberly Shipley, Jeff Hunt, Lindsey Elmore and Whitney Elmore; eight great-grandchildren: Weston Inman, Carsen Ann Inman, Kelsey Brooks Powell, Connor Wilson Powell, Elliott Shipley, Emmory Shipley, Edison Shipley and Cody Hunt.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Wilson Elmore; one daughter: Brenda Hunt; three brothers; Cleo Humphrey, James Humphrey and Degie Humphrey Jr.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral home.

Jim Perry
CANMER — Jim Perry, 85, died Friday, June 5, 2009, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Ed Perry and the late Alice Perry and husband of the late Pearl Aileen Perry.
Funeral services will be today (Monday) at 1 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church with interment in Perry Family Cemetery.
Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, is in charge of arrangements.

GLASGOW — Mitchell G. Bacon, 76, of Glasgow, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Monday) at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in White Cemetery.

BOWLING GREEN — Louise K. Harris, 93, died Wednesday night, June 3, 2009, at Barren County Health Care in Glasgow. A "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be Wednesday in Bowling Green at 3 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, 1003 State St., Bowling Green. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green or the Karl Weis Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Edmonton State Bank, P.O. Box 1149, Glasgow, KY 42141. Arrangements are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
